The son of De'Landa Adams, Jacquez was an All-Conference player who also served as Team Captain. In addition to being a member of the National Beta Club and the National Society of High School Scholars, he also volunteered for the M.O.V.E. food drive. Jacquez was coached by Wayne Jones.

In addition to being in the National Society of High School Scholars and being an AP Scholar, DaeQuan earned the Patrick Henry and Presidential Scholarships all while being a member of the All-Sports Club and French Club. He was also a Habitat for Humanity Youth Coach. DaeQuan was coached by Laymarr Marshall.

He was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Debate Club and also served as a volunteer coach for Upward Basketball. Thomas was coached by Andrew Carrouth.

He was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Debate Club and also served as a volunteer coach for Upward Basketball. Thomas was coached by Andrew Carrouth.
